At IBT our Medical Assistant diploma program will assist students in starting their career in the healthcare field. They will be capable of filling a variety of positions such as a Medical Assistant, a Clinical or Administrative Assistant and a Medical Receptionist. The training this program provides will ensure each student is prepared for the workforce in the medical field. Students of the program are given hands-on training so that students may practice in real life situations, rather than learning just from a textbook.
A graduate of IBT’s Medical Assistant program will be prepared to assist physicians in medical office examinations. They will also be able to perform basic laboratory skills and procedures that include recording, monitoring and mounting electrocardiograms. Out of the back office, students will be prepared to work in the front office performing administrative duties such as bookkeeping, record management, appointment scheduling, insurance, and medical practice management. With IBT’s informative program, you will be prepared to begin your career in Allied Health, as a Medical Assistant in no time!
